1968 Triumph 649cc T120R Bonneville
Registration no. SRR 458F
Frame no. T120R DU77752
Engine no. T120R DU77752
The café racer's favourite since its launch, the Bonneville arrived at what aficionados consider its ultimate specification with the launch of the 1968 model. By this time the frame had been sorted and 12-volt electrics standardised while welcome improvements included shuttle-valve fork internals, independently adjustable ignition points, Amal Concentric carburettors and a long overdue twin-leading-shoe front brake. This '68 Bonnie was personally imported from Canada by the current vendor in 1997, having already been fully restored. It was then stored as part of a private collection before being registered around three years ago. Finished in black/silver, 'SRR 458F' benefits from a recent service, a new battery and new tyres (replaced because of their age) and is described as in generally excellent condition. The machine is offered with road fund licence (expires 30.4.12), MoT to 9th June 2012 and Swansea V5 registration document.
