1952 BSA 650cc Golden Flash
1952 BSA 646cc A10
Registration no. CCN 547
Frame no. ZA7S 27691
Engine no. ZA10 13467
A new 650cc twin joined BSA's 500cc A7 model in 1949, the latter's engine being revised along the lines of the new design at the same time. Named 'Golden Flash', the new 650 was strikingly finished in pale beige metallic. Ever since the model's introduction enthusiasts have commonly referred to the touring A10 as the 'Golden Flash', even when it was finished in alternative colour schemes, as is the case here. Owned by the current vendor since 2002, this plunger-suspended example benefits from engine rebuild by marque specialists SRM Engineering, including conversion to unleaded compatibility, and new chromed wheel rims (see invoices on file). The machine is offered with workshop manual, parts lists, old-style logbook, current road fund licence, current MoT/tax and Swansea V5C. It should be noted that we have been advised by the vendor that the front forks have suffered very slight damage. Sold strictly as viewed.
Sold for £2,875 inc. premium
