Norton factory records held by the VMCC indicate that this particular 500T was delivered new to Dublin on 13th May 1949. The machine was first owned by Professor Jimmy Brindlay and later by Des Cullen. In 1993 'ZJ 3104' was displayed at the FIM Conference when it was held in Ireland that year (see photograph in accompanying history file). Described as in good honest condition, it was restored by Harry circa ten years ago, the engine being treated to a full mechanical overhaul and frame tubes replaced where needed while retaining the original lugs. The machine is offered with history file and we understand that a replacement registration document has been applied for.

Sold for £7,360 inc. premium
