The openwork cartouche formed of two writhing serpents, one with green enamel floral body, vari-cut emerald and diamond head and tail and ruby eyes, the other with terracotta enamel floral body, cushion and pear-shaped ruby and cushion-shaped and rose-cut diamond head and tail with emerald eyes, closed-back settings throughout, converted to a brooch, one emerald deficient, length 8.5cm
