A sapphire and diamond cross-over ring, circa 1935
Set with a cushion-shaped sapphire, weighing 2.86 carats, and a cushion-shaped diamond, with baguette-cut diamond highlights,
principal diamond approximately 1.85 carats, ring size N
Accompanied by a certificate from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indication heat treatment. Certificate number 06574, dated 3rd November 2012.
This ring was gifted to the family of the present owner in the 1950s by a wealthy German industrialist of note.
