Of cut-cornered rectangular form, the lid with sunray engine-turning, monogram 'JM', embossed foliate border and cabochon emerald thumbpiece, the base with engraved reeding and central rose-cut diamond motif, the interior fitted with clip, pencil, ivory aide memoire, mirror, two covered compartments, lipstick holder and comb, numbered, indistinct and partially struck maker's mark, French assay marks, one diamond deficient, length 9.1cm, cased by Cartier
