Two jade snuff bottles
1880-1960
The first of flattened oval form with a flat rim to the flared neck and oval flat base, the matrix of mottled green and white jadeite displaying a number of natural fissure lines; the second of rectangular form with a wide, flat rim to the cylindrical neck, the body with some natural depressions displaying mock animal mask and ring handles to the sides, a line-incised dragon roundel to each face and an oval recessed base, the matrix of pale gray-green hue with cloudy white and faint yellow patches.
