The 'Queen Mother of the West' holding a tray of auspicious vessels and plants as she stands accompanied by a phoenix at her feet and bats above her, the composition worked in polychrome silk threads and some details outlined in gilt-wrapped threads (tears, fading to embroidered surface); now bordered with embroidered silk strips, framed and glazed.
