Two woodcuts, from the Southern Japan Alps series, the first entitled Komagatake ishigoya [in Japanese] and Cave of Komagatake [in English] (Ogura 128), dated Showa 3 (1928), signed in ink with Hiroshi seal, pencil signed Hiroshi Yoshida with jizuri; the second entitled Roei kitadake ainodake (Bivouac: Kitadake and Ainodake) [in Japanese] and Kitadake and Manotake [in English] (Ogura 129), dated Showa 3 (1928), signed in ink with seal Hiroshi, pencil signed Hiroshi Yoshida with jizuri; very good impressions and color, slight creasing and wear to edges, the second somewhat toned.
