In the early 1990s George Tjungurrayi developed the distinctive, minimal style of finely executed lines, alternating in a two-toned pallette for which he has become renowned. He held his first solo exhibition at Utopia Art Sydney in 1997 and went on to gain ongoing national and international acclaim for his contemporary interpretation of typical Western Desert imagery. In this large-scale canvas, Tjungurrayi magnfies details of his Country in a particularly subtle pallette, resulting in an exaggerated, yet gentle optical design.

This painting is sold with an accompanying Papunya Tula Artists certificate
