FROM ASTP CREW TO A SOVIET SPACE DIGNITARY.
Color photographic reproduction of an artist's impression of the ASTP rendezvous, 7 x 11 inches, mounted and framed. Together with 2 commemorative bronze medallions, one depicting on the obverse the Soviet-American standards with the ASTP crew in stylized profile with the mission emblem on the reverse, the other being an Intercosmos presentation medal with relief and intaglio, and Tyulin's name engraved on one face.

The photograph SIGNED by the ASTP crew: TOM STAFFORD, DEKE SLAYTON, VANCE BRAND, ALEXEI LEONOV,and VALERY KUBASOV. On the mount below is an inscription in Russian to Georgy A. Tyulin. Tyulin had been Head of Rocket Artillery during WWII, and from 1964 he held various positions within State Commissions dealing with the Soviet space program. With a particular focus on the Zond interplanetary probe, he was longtime Head of the Commission for Unmanned Space Projects.
