Flown United States flag, silk, 8 x 11½ inches. Mounted on a 20 x16 inch mat board with a 4 inch diameter Apollo 12 crew emblem.

Accompanied by RICHARD GORDON'S signed provenance letter which reads in part: "This American flag flew with Conrad, Gordon, and Bean aboard Apollo XII – Yankee Clipper making the final descent to the Lunar Surface, Ocean of Storms, aboard Intrepid November 14 – 24,1969. It is from my personal collection." Flags of this size taken to the lunar surface are exceeding rare due to Lunar Module size and weight constrains.
The mat board is INSCRIBED and SIGNED by RICHARD GORDON: "Flown to the moon on Apollo XII, Richard Gordon."
