SNOOPY COLLECTION.
21 period decals from the Manned Flight Awareness project, ranging from 3 to 5 inches in size. Most feature "SNOOPY" wearing a space suit and conveying messages about flight "SAFETY" or "TEAM" camaraderie. The majority were made by Vitachrome, Inc. of Rosemead, CA for NASA. Included are:
1. Apollo Launch Team and Apollo 11 Lunar Team with light blue backgrounds.
2. Eyes on the Stars and SMEAT with the crew member names of the 1972 Skylab test.
3. Three hexagon shaped decals with Snoopy riding a CSM and the printed signature of one astronaut including Alan Shepard, Dave Scott, and Richard Gordon issued around 1970 to 1971.
4. Zero in on Safety in '72 4 decals with Snoopy riding a CSM and the printed signatures of one astronaut including John Young / Charlie Duke of Apollo 16 and Gene Cernan / Harrison Schmitt of Apollo 17.
5. Zero in on Safety in '73 3 decals of a space walking Snoopy with the Skylab Space Station in the background and the printed signatures of one astronaut including Charles Conrad, Joe Kerwin, or Gerry Carr.
6. Apollo Soyuz Space Teams featuring Snoopy and a Russian bear in space suit riding their respective spacecrafts.
7. Two NASA Meatball decals and mission emblems for Apollo 11, 13, 14, and 17.
