Browned and spotted, some dampstaining, wrinkling, a few short tears to edges, map slightly unevenly rejoined when mounted, linen more heavily browned and spotted.
AN EARLY MAP OF THE ROUTES THROUGH THE SOUTHWEST. The map was included in Emory's Notes of a Military Reconnoissance, from Fort Leavenworth, in Missouri, to San Diego, in California, and was crucial to those making the westward trek during the gold rush and the years following.
