DUTCH ACCOUNT OF THE MASSACRE AT JAMESTOWN. Purportedly an eyewitness account "from internal evidence, although it is clear that Vander Aa's Chester volume was created from two chapters of Captain John Smith's Generall Historie of Virginia" (Mardis, Allen Jr, "Visions of James Fort," The Virginia Magazine of History and Biography, Oct 1989, pp 463-498).
