Early Qing dynasty
Of square section, the short convex sides raised on a pronounced footring and rising to narrow shoulders, set with a short tapered spout, mounted with a gilt-bronze flap, connected by a chain to the mounted knop and to the large 'C'-sectioned mounted handle, the body of an even beige colour with extensive pale flecks, the base impressed with a jingxi seal in zhuanshu.
