Footnotes

  • For an almost identical teapot in the K.S. Lo collection, see The Stonewares of Yixing from the Ming Period to the Present Day, Hong Kong, 1986, p.32, pl.7, where the author points out that Yixing stoneware with reticulated decoration began from the Qing dynasty but is rarely used due to the requirement of high skilled techniques.

K.S.LO,The Stonewares of Yixing from the Ming Period to the Present Day, Hong Kong, 1986, p.32, pl.7.
