Of archaistic form, simulating the shape of an ancient coin ('bubi), or spade-shaped money, the rectangular sectioned body rising from a split base, the square handle and a straight spout mounted in jade, the whole body coated with pewter, incised on one side with a poem, the reverse with plum blossoms, the flat cover with a jade knop, the interior revealing the reddish-bwown clay, with a seal mark impressed in the central flattened area.
