A Meissen turquoise-ground teabowl and saucer, circa 1735
The saucer painted with two chickens by flowers issuing from stylised rockwork, the teabowl with a similar scene within a shaped quatrefoil reserve, and another with flowers on the reverse, the rims with purple scale-like borders edged in iron-red, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, impressed Dreher's marks for Christian Meynert and another (haircrack to teabowl, rubbing) (2)
