The pear-shaped coffee pot on three gilt-edged scroll feet, painted with a battle scene above elaborate coloured scrollwork embellished with flowers, the domed cover with a similar vignette depicting a soldier in a landscape; the teapot and cover with moulded borders of scrollwork panels, painted on each side by Philipp Jacob Ihle with an elegant couple in a landscape vignette, the cover with two miniature vignettes, the spout and handle embellished in gilding, 25.5cm and 11.5cm high, rampant lion mark in underglaze-blue and impressed PH to the coffee pot; the teapot with crowned interlaced CC monogram in underglaze-blue, painter's mark in manganese, - in iron-red, impressed A (handle of coffee pot restuck) (4)
