Reserved on each side with a quatrelobe panel painted with a European landscape scene enclosed by an elaborate gilt scrollwork cartouche, the shoulder painted with Holzschnittblumen, the cover with a similar landscape cartouche, 11cm high, crossed swords mark in blue, impressed Former's mark of three dots (rim of cover restored) (2)
