Each side decorated with a chinoiserie scene within a gilt scrollwork cartouche filled with Böttger lustre and embellished with iron-red and purple scrollwork, flanked by flowering branches of indianische Blumen, a similar cartouche to the inside, gilt strap- and scrollwork border to the inside rim, 8.4cm high; 17.4cm diam., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt numeral 45., incised / inside footrim
