A Meissen Hausmaler teabowl and saucer, circa 1720, the decoration circa 1737
Painted in Augsburg by Sabina Aufenwerth, each with a purple-edged gilt cartouche enclosing iron-red camaieu landscape panels, the reverse of the teabowl with two calendar fragments, dated '1737' and 'Augustus', gilt-edged rims, the teabowl: 4.2cm high; the saucer: 12.5cm diam. (some flaking to gilt rims) (2)
