Two Worcester cups, circa 1753-54
One of quatrelobed flaring form with a double scroll handle with upturned thumbrest, the front panel painted with a 'Long Eliza' figure holding an umbrella, the side panels with flowering peony and a songbird, 6.5cm high (crack in base of handle), the other rib-moulded coffee can with a simple scroll handle, painted in colours with a winged insect flanked by floral sprigs, beneath a border of half flowerheads, 5.3cm high (tiny chip) (2)
