A rare Nantgarw plate, circa 1818-20
Painted in London, probably in the Bradley workshop, the cavetto with a full floral spray including a variegated tulip, cyclamen and rose, the border with five smaller sprigs and a red-breasted bird perched on a branch, reserved on a pale yellow ground, the crisp C scroll moulding picked out in gold, 24.5cm diam, impressed NANT-GARW CW
