A group of Worcester and Caughley milk jugs, circa 1770-85
Of baluster shape with sparrow beak lips, comprising a Worcester jug and cover, gilded with swags within a gilt dentil border, possibly in the Giles workshop, 13.5cm high (slight wear), a similarly gilded Caughley jug of corrugated form with a Chinese Export style handle, 10.5cm high (slight wear), a Caughley jug and cover of the same shape, printed in blue with the 'Temple' pattern, 13.5cm high, S mark (slight wear), a Worcester jug and cover printed in blue with the 'Bandstand' pattern, 14cm high, disguised numeral mark, and a reeded Worcester jug and cover with gilded formal borders, 13.5cm high (chip, slight wear) (9)
