A Lowestoft cream jug, circa 1763-65
Of pear shape with a loop handle and upturned thumbrest, the distinctive 'IH' type moulding featuring beaded panels flanked by lattice columns, painted in blue with panels of oriental landscapes, the inside rim painted with two half flowerheads, 8.8cm high, indistinct painter's numeral mark 3 or 8 (very short, fine crack)
