A Vauxhall creamboat, circa 1757-60
Of slender boat shape on a low spreading foot, the scroll handle with a slight thumbrest, painted in Imari style in iron red and underglaze blue heightened in gold with a Chinese figure holding a staff crossing a bridge, flanked by trees with an island in the distance, a diaper border inside, 12.1cm long (restoration to one side of the lip)
