A very rare set of four Meissen candlesticks, circa 1735
En suite with the previous lot, Each with a domed foot rising to a waisted base moulded with panels of bellflowers, a knopped shaft below an acanthus-leaf border and sconce, painted in famille verte style, en suite with the preceding lot, with ducks or geese, flowers issuing from stylised rockwork, scattered indianische Blumen and gilding to the moulded flowers and leaves, 23cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, impressed Dreher's mark of four crosses within circles, a cross over a triangle and four dots around x (one with cracks) (4)
