A rare large Meissen serving spoon, circa 1730-35
Painted in Kakiemon style with the 'Three Friends of Winter' - flowering prunus, pine and bamboo branches - issuing from banded hedges and scattered flowers, flowering bamboo on the reverse of the bowl, the edges of the handle with a flower and leaves against a yellow seeded ground, 30.9cm long
