Painted by Louis-Denis Armand (l'âiné) with a landscape panel on each side depicting a single bird, the sides with entwined gilt fruiting vines, gilt foliate scrollwork borders to the rims, the cover surmounted by a flower finial, 10cm high, interlaced LL monogram enclosing date letter T in blue, crescent mark and B (for Jean-Pierre Boulanger) in black (cover restuck) (2)
