Footnotes

  • The flower painting was executed by Vincent Taillandier, working at the factory from 1753 until 1790 as a flower painter. The gilding was executed by Etienne-Henry Le Guay (aîné), one of the factory's longest and indeed most prolific employees, working at Sèvres from 1748 to 1797.
