A pair of Frankenthal figures of Oriental musicians, circa 1775-76
Modelled by Carl Gottlieb Lück, both dressed in oriental costume, he playing a horn, she playing a lute, painted in complimenting shades of yellow, puce and iron red, both standing on grassy bases edged in gilt scrollwork, 15.4cm high, crowned CT monograms and 75 and 76 in underglaze-blue (some restoration) (2)
