Painted with chinoiserie scenes in gilt scrollwork and Böttger-lustre cartouches edged with iron-red and purple foliate scrollwork, gilt scroll- and strapwork borders, indianische Blumen within iron-red concentric circles to the centre of the teabowl, the teabowl: 4.6cm high; the saucer: 12.4cm diam, gilt numeral 40. to both, impressed .. inside footrim of saucer (2)
