Two rare Nantgarw trays, circa 1818-20
Of rectangular form with shell moulding at either end picked out in gold, painted in London, one with a grouping of flowers and fruit including a pineapple, grapes, peaches, roses and cornflowers, the green border with floral panels and raised gold scrollwork, 27.7cm wide, the other painted with flowers surrounded by floral garlands pendant from a turquoise border heightened with raised gold flowers, 28.2cm wide, both impressed NANT-GARW CW (both broken and restuck)
