A Nantgarw centrepiece
Of circular form, the bowl with fine C-scroll moulding, the heavy foot with turned ridges picked out in gold, painted in London, probably in the Sims workshop, with pink rose sprays and sprigs and scattered brightly coloured insects within a gilt dentil rim, the foot with a band of roses and rich formal gilded borders, 28.4cm diam (some regilding and oxidization to the green enamel)
