A fine Pinxton mug, circa 1796-99
Of cylindrical form, the shaped handle with a moulded acanthus thumbrest, painted in the manner of William Billingsley with a spray of tulips, morning glory and rose, flanked by two smaller sprigs, a gilt line above the foot and on the rim, 9.7cm high (wear to rim)
