Two Worcester cream jugs, circa 1760-70
One of baluster form with a plain loop handle, the ground moulded with the 'Chrysanthemum' pattern of scrolling Oriental foliage below an underglaze blue lambrequin border, a band of petals painted around the base, 9.2cm high, the other of Sparrow beak form with a grooved loop handle, painted in blue with the 'Candle Fence' pattern with a tree, flowering peony and other oriental shrubs beside a fence, the inner rim with a border of half flowerheads upon a hatched-line band 8.5cm high, both with crescent marks (2)
