A Vauxhall figure of Spring, circa 1756-60
Modelled as a boy seated upon an upturned basket of flowers, wearing a pale yellow jacket and puce breeches trimmed with brightly coloured flowers, a floral chaplet held in both hands, the scrolled base picked out in gold, 12.6cm high (minor losses)
