A rare pair of South Staffordshire enamel mustard pots and covers, circa 1770
Of baluster form, the domed covers both modelled in relief with a spaniel reclining on a cushion, one cushion pink, the other yellow, the sides with flower sprays framed with scrollwork, the light green ground reserved with flower sprigs in yellow enamel with traces only of original gilding 8cm high (a few patches of restoration) (4)
