A large Staffordshire agateware jug and three similar small mugs, circa 1740
Possibly Newcastle-under-Lyme, the jug of pear shape with a grooved strap handle, the mugs of cylindrical shape on slightly spreading feet, two with a grooved strap handle, one with a plain loop handle, all formed of marbled red and brown clay and with a clear lead glaze, the jug 18.3cm high, the mugs 6.7cm (all with chips) (4)
