A South Staffordshire enamel mustard pot and cover and a cream jug, circa 1770
The mustard of baluster form on three pad feet, moulded in relief with a front panel of trophies of war, picked out in colours framed by raised gold scrollwork set against a green ground, the reverse painted with a large flower spray, the lid moulded as a suit of armour painted to simulate steel, with a hole for a spoon and metal mounts, 15cm high (handle lacking, feet restored, cracks), the jug of baluster shape on three feet, decorated with sprigs of flowers on a white ground within gilded scrolls, 9.2cm high (restored) (3)
