Copper-engraved map on 4 double-page sheets, hand-colored in outline, 1155 x 1020 mm to neatlines. Five hanging tabs pasted on verso at head, archivally encapsulated. Lower left and right corners torn away with loss, 5½" in arc of loss at Gulf of Texas, trimmed just within platemark at top edge and upper right edge, a few repaired tears.
