A 5-1/2 inch Chelsea Mariner ship's strike clock
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, MA. early 20th century
for S. Nordlinger & Sons, Los Angeles; with a silvered face, black Arabic numerals, blackened simple hands, Slow/Fast adjuster below the 12, signed above and below the center, double barrel key wind - one for the movement, the other for the strike, all within a brass casement, with a ship's wheel around the case, supported by a bronze pediment and displayed on a mahogany base.
17-1/2 x 12-1/2 in. (44.4 x 31.7 cm.) height x diameter.
