This virtuoso piece was carved by a an unidentified German master from a single large specimen of bright reddish-orange coral to depict a female nude draped with robes surrounded by sheaves of wheat. Likely to have been carved circa 1970 the availability of such large specimens of coral is unheard of in today's market. Measures 8 x 4x 2 in

  • This carving became damaged during our exhibition set up. A crack was sustained across the lower 1/3 of the piece. It has been professionally repaired. The quality of the carving is excellent. Photographs of the damage can be emailed to interested prospective purchasers.
