TERRA NOVA
An electroplated cruet set from the Terra Nova wardroom, by Walker & Henderson, Sheffield, the trefoil stand on three raised ball feet, with stem and loop handle and cut glass fitments, makers' marks on the base of the stand and the salt and pepper pots, the front with expedition logo ('British Antarctic Expedition Terra Nova R.Y.S.' in a band surrounding a penguin on the Pole), the mustard spoon engraved B.A.E.T.N./R.Y.S., the whole 150mm. high
