  • "Amundsen's modest account of his extraordinary South Pole exploit is a classic in the exploration literature" (Rosove), this first German translation issued the same year as the original Norwegian edition. This set is in original state as issued, complete with plain dust-jackets (preserving in very fresh condition the pictorial cloth cover) and the publisher's original slipcase with printed labels.
