  • A FINE PRESENTATION COPY. The recipient Otto Schlüter (1872-1959) was a private tutor at the University of Berlin 1906-09, then at the University of Bonn 1909-11, followed by the chair of geography Professor at Halle from 1911. He is considered the founder of modern anthropogeography, a subject which dominated Drygalski's later scientific thinking.
