  • A fine copy of a scarce title, "... it must have been a rarity to find someone interested in reading the title in the midst of the First World War" (Taurus).

    Gerald Doorly was a junior officer on board the two voyages of the Morning, the relief ship for the Discovery expedition. As Colbeck, the ship's captain, did not write an account Doorly's book is the main eye-witness source.
