Autograph manuscript of an address to "The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Glasgow", comprising a detailed report on trade links between Burma and Western China, with recommendations for expanding these links through the establishment of a proper boundary and increased responsibilities on the part of the King and the authorities, 32 pages, written in brown ink, with pencil additions and amendments, on loose sheets tipped onto card with tape, 4to, [c.1870]
